Lisa Shelley

Lisa Shelley is the founder and Principal Consultant of Essentia Ltd.  Lisa has leveraged more than 20 years of experience managing people, projects and products at General Electric to form Essentia’s unique approach to organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.  Her rare perspective is based upon experience working on organizational change and engagement efforts from the varied vantage points of team member, manager and HR manager.  Lisa’s career has spanned leadership roles in many functional areas including Engineering, Customer Support, Product Management and Human Resources.   She has developed expertise across a wide range of business functions including Organizational Effectiveness, Purpose Discovery, Organizational Development, Learning Management, Product Management, Process Development and Optimization, Change Management, Supplier Management, Customer Support, Creative Problem Solving, and Project Management.  She is a natural systems thinker and a passionate public speaker.

Lisa formed Essentia Ltd as a result of her passion to make a significant impact on people, organizations and businesses through a more holistic approach to organizational engagement. Essentia provides consulting, training and motivational speaking to help businesses achieve optimal results through more energized, capable and effective organizations.  Lisa holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, is a certified Six Sigma Master Black belt, is certified in the Enneagram Personality Assessment and has completed extensive leadership training through GE’s Jack Welch Leadership Center (GE Crotonville.)
